Not at all! Our workshop is designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to kids with some experience. Teacher Tin, Teacher Niña, and Teacher Jason are experts at meeting each child where they are and helping them grow. Many of our most confident performers started with zero experience!
This is totally normal and we see it all the time! Our program is specifically designed to build confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment. We start with fun games and group activities before moving to individual moments. Many parents are amazed at how much their shy child opens up by showcase time.

We understand life happens! While we encourage consistent attendance for the best experience, we provide makeup materials and one-on-one catch-up time when possible. Missing 1-2 sessions won’t prevent your child from participating in the showcase.
The showcase is included in the program, but we never force a child to perform solo if they’re not comfortable. Shy participants can be part of group numbers or help with other aspects like narration or backstage support. The goal is building confidence, not creating stress!
Comfortable clothes they can move in – think yoga pants, t-shirts, sneakers or jazz shoes. No need for costumes or special outfits. We provide any props needed for the showcase. Costume details will be communicated during the workshop.

Yes! Siblings receive $20 off. We love having families participate together!
If your child can focus for 4-hour sessions with breaks, follows multi-step instructions, and enjoys singing, dancing, or acting, they’re ready! Our instructors are skilled at adapting activities for different maturity levels within the age range.
Many students continue with our individual Voice or Piano lessons, or join our next seasonal workshop! We also offer performance opportunities throughout the year for continuing students.
